Frequently Asked Questions
- Are you insured and bonded?
- Yes. We carry complete liability coverage. We will treat your home with great care. If an accident should occur and something is broken, we will make every effort to repair it, or if necessary replace it. Your team will leave a note explaining the situation and our office will contact you immediately to resolve the issue.
- Who will clean my home?
- We work in fully trained teams of two or three. All employees have undergone drug screening and background checks. We strive to send the same team to your home each time, but due to illness, vacation, etc. this may not always be possible. However, one team member will always be familiar with your home.
- Do I have to be home when you clean?
- No. Most people prefer to not be home, but it is entirely up to you. We are usually given a key or garage door access. These are coded by numbers only and are kept in a secure location at our office. They are only given to the crew leader on the morning of your cleaning. A $30.00 lock out fee applies if we cannot gain access into your home.
- Do I need to provide any cleaning products?
- No. Dutch Maids provides all cleaning products. If there would be a particular product that you would like used in your home, you are welcome to leave it out for your team.
- When will the Dutch Maids arrive?
- Our normal business hours are 8:00AM-4:30PM. When your cleaning day is scheduled, we will give you a small window of time as to when your team will be arriving. We will try and be flexible with your schedule as we hope you will be with ours.
- What do I need to do before you arrive?
- To help us optimize our cleaning services, all we ask is that you have your personal items put away. (Clothes, dishes, toys, etc.)
- How do I pay for your services?
- Payment is due at time of service. A check made payable to Dutch Maids left on the kitchen counter or cash in a sealed envelope with our name clearly marked are acceptable forms of payment. Please note that any returned checks will be charged a $25.00 fee by our office.
